Abstract

During this pandemic, knowledge is the most difficult thing that can be obtained by National University students, especially for Informatics students who in fact need further direction to pursue vocational science. Likewise, the curriculum system, where the learning system for vocational courses has been removed which causes major problems for the future of Informatics students in determining their careers. That way, informatics students will not be able to solve problems in the world of work on the quality of education at the National University. Distance learning or E-learning is one of the right solutions to support the ability of informatics students in choosing their vocational fields in the form of student training forums. In this system, students will be given the option to choose three available vocational fields to determine which direction they will anchor to. In this system too, decisions will be determined based on the questions given in the form of multiple and random choices using the Fisher-Yates algorithm to avoid cheating. The advantage of the Fisher-Yates algorithm lies in the randomization method which is effective and does not repeat itself and results in varied problems. So it can be denied that the design of the informatics student training forum system at the National University can increase interest in learning and be able to determine scientific fields based on the results of their abilities.
