Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the New Design of Pre-service Training for the civil servant candidates of the Ministry of Finance (MoF). This research used 99 samples who become alumni of the training. Findings showed that the training through the understanding of its material (the value of accountability, public ethics, commitment to quality, and anti-corruption) had positive effect on employee work performance of MoF. In contrast, the value of nationalism had negative influence toward performance.
