Estimation par une approche variationnelle du tassement d’une fondation rigide sur sol renforcé par colonnes

Abstract

The prediction of the settlement of a foundation raft resting upon a soil reinforced by columns is studied by the framework of the homogenisation. The global characteristics of such a homogenized structure are evaluated from the application of the principle of minimum complementary energy in linear elasticity. The result here proposed are compared, both, with those obtained by previous methods.
