Abstract

A general method for Rh-catalyzed cyclopropenation is described, as is a Rh-catalyzed intermolecular alkyne insertion/Büchner ring expansion cascade. Ligand choice governs control over these divergent reaction pathways. Copyright © 2006 American Chemical Society.
