Abstract

Global warming is a critical and urgent global issue hindering the establishment of a sustainable world for all creatures on the planet. Owing to this issue, an Electric Vehicle (EV) society in the near future is necessary to establish a carbon free society. This study introduces the utilization of V2X (Vehicle to X: from Home=H to Power Grid=G), bidirectional charger/discharger for EVs, and the development of VPP (Virtual Power Plant) utilization in Japan as solutions to the energy crisis induced by global warming. We believe that the application of the V2X system can provide one of the best solutions to the energy crisis.
