Sustainable housing for the high Andean areas of Peru, applying architectural, environmental and construction criteria

Abstract

This work was carried out with the purpose of determining what are the main architectural, environmental and constructive aspects of a sustainable home for the high Andean areas. A documentary-type design was applied, where 9 investigations about sustainable housing were analyzed, which were chosen according to inclusion criteria and served as the basis for this investigation. As data collection instruments, a summary sheet was used that allowed synthesizing and organizing the relevant information. Finally, the architectural, environmental and construction parameters of a sustainable house in the high Andean areas were determined and could be applied in a final proposal.
