Abstract

Andorra is strongly dependent on neighbouring countries and the wider international trading situation. The political community is able to react rapidly to changing circumstances on the world market. Currently Andorra imports goods in large quantities and re-exports them after they have been cleared of foreign duties and charged with Andorran taxes. Marketing, transport and the hotel trade are major activities. Future prospects include further development of financial activities and tourism.-H.Clout
