Abstract

The paper describes the remote monitoring system of water bodies that consists of three parts: the central controlling server, stand-alone sensing devices and applications to control devices and processing the collected data. The control server provides API for data access and implements flexible access policies to the system and all collected data. Stand-alone sensing devices accumulate the measurements made and send them at certain intervals to the control server by means of wireless connection via GSM network.
