Abstract

The type of tourism called cultural tourism has as a backdrop the geographical concepts of space and place, and constitutes a tool for disseminating knowledge through the interpretation of heritage and also an instrument for valuing history and day-by-day of the local community. This article discusses by using literature research and documents issues about heritage and the possibilities for improvement of tourism cultural imprint in the municipality of Antonina, located in the state of Parana, in view of the recent recognition of its historic center as national heritage.
