The case for shared medical appointments

Abstract

Shared medical appointments have been shown to have potential benefits for patients, healthcare professionals and the healthcare system, but they have been slow to be adopted in the UK. Here the authors examine the use of shared medical appointments and consider why they are not adopted more widely.
