MOOC is a national agenda in the institutions as it is addressed in the 11th Malaysian Plan, the National Economic Model, Economic Transformation Programme and the Malaysian Education Blueprint. Recently, have witnessed the development of massive open online courses (MOOCs) as a learning trend in the field of open distance education and online learning. The survey was used in this research where data were collected from 400 respondents and then analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings were obtained based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. The result shows that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating condition have influenced the respondents to use MOOC in their learning. This research exposed that the UTAUT factors implemented in this study have a significant effect to behavioural intention in order students use MOOC technology. It illustrates the positive impact of these technologies and beneficial to understand the MOOC adoption for all students, especially at public universities and in the area of online learning perspective.
