Abstract

: When the charging of a large number of electric vehicles leads to a concentrated load at a specific time zone or region, the electric vehicle users may feel uncomfortable in using the charging station, and an unexpected peak load, which is new, or a weighting existing peak load may result in the power system supplying power for electric vehicle charging. A service of EV charging aggregation has recently emerged with the development of connected car technology that connects each vehicle and communication network. This agent has a flexible solution that provides a reasonable charging cost for the customers and provide reliable ancillary service to the power system operator. In this paper, the EV charging station aggregation service model was introduced and the potential of the EV service market for power grid system stability was studied by using co-simulation, which was connected between real-time dynamic power grid simulator and EV charging aggregation model.
