Observations sur l'érosion de la basse terrasse à Petite-Rivière, Charlevoix, Québec

Abstract

At Petite-Rivière, during the last two centuries, shore erosion has cut back a large portion of the low terrace (Mitis terrace). Today inadequately protected sections are cut back at a mean annual rate varying from 40 to 90 cm. Appropriate measures are necessary to stop shore erosion of a valuable site threatened to disappear on the long term.
