The Analysis of Feasibility Study of Establishment of Syariah Rural Bank (BPR Syariah) Patriot East Bekasi Branch

Abstract

The development of the Syariah Rural Bank (BPR Syariah) in an effort to grow its existence in the banking world is experiencing rapid progress, especially in providing service to small and medium businesses and micro, because in addition to using Islamic principles, The BPR Syariah is also considered flexibility and personal approach to its financing model. BPR Syariah Patriot Bekasi since its establishment in Bekasi City has been able to make a significant increase every year. Then it needs more extensive development. Therefor it requires a feasibility study analysis. This research uses descriptive qualitative method using SWOT analysis. The analysis shows that the strengths factor is more dominant than the weakness factor which is owned by BPR Syariah Patriot Bekasi. Likewise with the opportunity factors (opportunities) are also more dominant than the threat factor (thearts). As such, BPR Syariah Patriot has the potential for strong competitiveness with other banking institutions, both with non-bank institutions and other commercial banks in the City of Bekasi and surrounding areas.
