Abstract

The manuscript focuses on the electrochemical performance of the La 1.7 Ca 0.3 NiO 4+δ (LCNO) and La 1.7 Sr 0.3 NiO 4+δ (LSNO) based composite cathodes with Ce 0.8 Sm 0.2 O 1.9 (SDC) or BaCe 0.89 Gd 0.1 Cu 0.01 O 3 (BCGCu) ceramic components in contact with BCGCu or BaCe 0.5 Zr 0.3 Y 0.2 O 3 +1wt.%CuO (BCZYCu) proton conducting electrolytes in comparison with La 0.6 Sr 0.4 Fe 0.8 Co 0.2 O 3 (LSFC) and La 0.75 Sr 0.2 MnO 3 (LSM) composite cathodes.
