Abstract
Pneumothorax is a rare but recognized cause of respiratory distress in the newborn. It can occur spontaneously or post-trau-matic. We report our experience in a term male neonate who had primary spontaneous pneumothorax. He had no surgical intervention but completely recovered with conservative management and supplemental oxygen.
