IbM WIRAUSAHA CARPET LAUNDRY DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN TEKNOLOGI PROSES DAN MANAJEMEN OPERASIONAL BISNIS

Abstract

The carpet laundry business is a form of entrepreneurship that has the potential to be developed in urban areas. Improving the quality of service products and productivity becomes a competitive advantage for the carpet laundry business. Constraints in the process of washing and drying carpets become obstacles for the carpet laundry business in the rainy season. In addition, labor constraints and the availability of space for drying arise for the carpet laundry business in urban areas. This IbM program aims to solve operational problems faced by the carpet laundry business in order to improve service quality and productivity. The method applied is the improvement of carpet washing and drying technology with a carpet spinning machine as well as operational management in the carpet laundry business. The results achieved show that the technical operation after using the carpet spinning machine is 3 times faster and the management is better. Workshop on carpet spinning machine technology, operational and business management for carpet laundry business partners plays a very important role in developing a better business venture.
