Abstract

Cosmic ray cutoff rigidities, numerically computed using geomagnetic field coefficients, are frequently used as an ordering parameter for cosmic radiation data. Examples of the use of cutoff rigidities as an ordering parameter include latitude surveys, long-term galactic radiation studies, and solar cosmic ray event analyses. © 1990, Society of Geomagnetism and Earth, Planetary and Space Sciences.
