Abstract

The postural tachycardia syndrome is a heterogenous group of disorders with similar characteristics that occur as a result of disturbances of normal autonomic control. Successful treatment is often dependent on identification of the subtype together with pursuit of a comprehensive treatment program. © 2008 American Heart Association, Inc.
