Abstract
Substituted 5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-oxazines are prepared by the acid-catalyzed amidoalkylation of the terminal olefins. 5,6-Dihydro-4H-oxazines undergo further transformations involving the hetero-ring and/or the substituent leading to alkyl amino-substituted 5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-dihydrooxazines and/or to ring-opened products, 3-hydroxypropylamides. © 1993.
