Abstract

The geographic ranges of six species of apoid wasps are extended: Chlorion hemiprasinum (Sichel, 1863), Podium trigonopsoides Menke, 1974, Eremnophila eximia (Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, 1845), Prionyx chilensis (Spinola, 1851), Stictia signata (Linnaeus, 1758) and Bicyrtes discisus (Taschenberg, 1870). The paper is based on the examination of the entomological collections of the Museu Nacional-Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and of the Instituto Oswaldo Cruz. © 2011 Check List and Authors.
