Abstract

We propose lossless DCT coding in which the transform matrix is modified with short length words, then reversible quantizer is introduced for transform vectors. The modification makes lossless compression coding possible. An 8 by 8 lossless DCT picture coding system is shown along with simulation results. The algorithm can be applied to a contribution transfer system. It is important that lossless DCT is compatible with conventional DCT.
