Investigações sobre as possibilidades de reconhecer apropriações indevidas da Mecânica Quântica: o papel da divulgação científica

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é discutir as potencialidades da implementação de estratégias para apresentar a Mecânica Quântica (MQ) de forma acessível e capaz de sustentar uma argumentação contrária às pseudociências. O campo de estudo foi a Chapada Diamantina – BA, mas estendeu-se para outras regiões por meio de medidas de divulgação científica com produção de conteúdo para o Instagram e confecção de uma cartilha digital. A cartilha foi divulgada no ambiente web e também utilizada para levantamento de concepções de participantes convidados por meio de questionário. Conclui-se, dos resultados da pesquisa, que, dentro das diversas possibilidades quanto a incentivos para a educação científica na área da MQ, uma que se apresenta relevante é a exposição dos perigos da descontextualização e merece grande atenção dos pesquisadores desse campo de conhecimento. Na atualidade, todo tipo de informação circula na sociedade, inclusive por meio das redes sociais e internet, portanto, é preciso ocupar esses espaços para difundi-la com argumentos e linguagens alinhadas ao entendimento científico atual. Nesse sentido, os produtos da pesquisa são exemplos relevantes pois, além de apresentarem alguns dos principais conceitos fundamentais, expõem o que de fato é estudado pela teoria, afastando interpretações equivocadas ou mal intencionadas da MQ.The objective of this article is to discuss the potential of implementing strategies to present Quantum Mechanics (QM) in an accessible way, weighted by scientific data and capable of sustaining an argument against pseudosciences. The field of study was Chapada Diamantina – BA, but it was extended to other regions through scientific dissemination measures with the production of content for Instagram and the creation of a digital booklet. The booklet was published on the web and was also used to survey the conceptions of invited participants through a questionnaire. It is concluded, from the results of the research, that, within the various possibilities regarding incentives for scientific education in the area of QM, one that is relevant is the exposure of the dangers of decontextualization and deserves great attention from researchers in this field of knowledge. Nowadays, all kinds of information circulate in society, including through social media and the internet, therefore, it is necessary to occupy these spaces to spread it with arguments and language aligned with current scientific understanding. In this sense, the research products are relevant examples because, in addition to presenting some of the main fundamental concepts, they expose what is actually studied by the theory, removing mistaken or malicious interpretations of the MQ.
