Abstract
Pneumonia is a disease that is a problem in various developing countries including Indonesia. Pneumonia that occurs in Indonesia tends to increase for the prevalence period of pneumonia of all ages from 2.1% in 2007 to 2.7% in 2013, pneumonia is high in the age group 1-4 years, then begins to increase at the age of 45-54 years. This research is a descriptive research with a retrospective data collection method with a sampling technique, namely total sampling. The retrospective was carried out based on past data, referring to secondary data in the form of patient medical records during treatment at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin, a sample of 110 medical record data of pediatric pneumonia patients at the inpatient installation of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin for the January-December period of 2022. Based on gender, 98 patients were obtained, with men totaling 57 (58.16%) and women totaling 41 (41.84%). Childhood pneumonia mostly occurs in the age range of 0-2 years, which is as many as 72 (83.67%) and at the age of 2-12 years as many as 26 (26.53%).
