Abstract

The need to train highly qualified professionals to serve the country is a pressing reality in the Peruvian case. The reason for such lack is the absence of adequate methodologies that promote the consolidation of investigative capacities from the school. For this reason, this research shows the benefits of applying a novel program (API) that enables students to develop research capabilities. A series of ten sessions with experimental and control groups was carried out in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the method to 46 high school students from an educational institution in Lima.
