Abstract

Given the important role of apolipoprotein E (apoE) in triglyceride metabolism, we analyzed plasma levels and degree of sialylation of apoE in subjects with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), a disorder accompanied by hypertriglyceridemia.
