Abstract

An overview is given on the synthesis of heterocyclic and carbocyclic compounds via alkynyl, allyl, and propargyl organometallics of cyclopentadienyl iron, molybdenum, and tungsten complexes. It is shown that these transition metal complexes are good complementary reagents to organometallic reagents of silanes, stannes, boranes, and zinc.
