Abstract

Thermo-responsive polymer-coated polystyrene particles with a diameter of 84¯m (PNIPAM@PS) were prepared. The hydrophobicity of the surface of the PNIPAM@PS can be controlled by changing the temperature of the environment. We studied the effect of temperature and salt concentration for electrostatic formation of liquid marbles prepared using PNIPAM@PS.
