The structure of the μ-phase Co 7 Mo 6

Abstract

The µ-phase structure of Co7Mo6 has been confirmed by making single-crystal measurements. The atomic parameters show some significant changes when compared with those in µFe7W6, and the interatomic distances in Co7Mo6 are compared with those in other transition-metal phases. The distribution of atoms in the available sites appears to be completely ordered.
