Findings examined the limitations and barriers as well as motivators for adapting to a networked digitalized environment. Lack of information searching, irrelevant technology, as well as distrust and misconceptions of new media, contribute to limitation and barriers to using digital technologies. On the other hand, motivation from others in older adults social circle, and self-initiative and interest, as well as exposure to technology facilitate and motivate older adults efforts to adapt and participate in our contemporary networked communication digital environment surrounding.
