Non-ossifying fibroma

Abstract

Non-ossifying fibromas are discovered secondarily to trauma. These lesions usually regress over a period of time with no treatment needed. They are commonly found in metaphyseal bone of children and young adults. In the case history presented, no change has occurred over a period of six months. The Achilles tendonitis has resolved, and the biomechanical foot imbalance is being controlled with orthotics.
