UPAYA PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATERI KIMIA UNSUR MELALUI MEDIA VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN KIMIA PADA SISWA KELAS XII-IPA.4 SMAN 04 KOTA JAMBI

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not the achievement of learning chemistry in elemental chemistry has increased through the medium of chemistry learning videos for class XII-IPA.4 students at SMA Negeri 04 Jambi City Odd Semesters for the 2018/2019 Academic Year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 3 cycles including the initial condition cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study of individual learning completeness of research subjects from the initial condition of 50.0% to the end of the first cycle which reached 63.0% means an increase of 13%. From cycle I to cycle II there was also an increase in individual learning completeness, from 63% in the first cycle to 94% at the end of the second cycle. Thus, from the initial condition to the final condition, individual learning mastery has increased by 31%. It is also an increase in classical learning completeness, which is 50% in the initial conditions to 93.8% in the final conditions, which means an increase of 43.8%. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui meningkat tidaknya prestasi belajar Kimia pada materi kimia unsur melalui media video pembelajaran kimia pada siswa kelas XII-IPA.4 di SMA Negeri 04 Kota Jambi Semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 3 siklus antara lain siklus kondisi awal, siklus 1, dan siklus 2. Tiap-tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ketuntasan belajar perorangan subjek penelitian dari kondisi awal sebesar 50,0% ke akhir siklus I yang mencapai 63,0% berarti mengalami kenaikan 13%. Dari siklus I ke siklus II juga ada peningkatan ketuntasan belajar perorangan, yaitu dari 63% pada siklus I menjadi 94% di akhir siklus II. Dengan demikian dari kondisi awal ke kondisi akhir, ketuntasan belajar perorangan mengalami peningkatan 31%. Hal tersebut juga terjadi peningkatan pada ketuntasan belajar klasikal, yaitu 50% pada kondisi awal menjadi 93,8% pada kondisi akhir yang berarti terjadi kenaikan sebesar 43,8%.
