Abstract

At several points in this article, we referred to an incorrect laser power. Specifically, for our work with cells, we stated the laser power delivered to the microscope (700 mW) instead of the more relevant number of the power measured at the sample on the microscope stage (90 mW). Thus 700 mW should be replaced by 90 mW at the following places in the text: 1. page 5425, line 12 of the right-hand column 2. page 5426, caption of Figure 4a,b 3. page 5427, line 40 of the right-hand column 4. page S14 of the Supporting Information, just after equation S8 This difference in power translates to a steady-state O2 (a1Δg) concentration of 9.5 nM and a total of ∼5 × 1011 O2 (a1Δg) molecules produced over the 30 min irradiation period (page 5427, line 42 of the right-hand column). This correction does not influence the thrust and conclusions of our paper.
