Abstract

Ultrasonic velocities (u) for binary mixtures of propylene carbonate (PC) (1) with benzene and substituted benzenes (2) viz. benzene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene and p-xylene have been measured at 288.15-308.15 K over the entire range of composition. The experimental values of ultrasonic velocities (u) have been utilized to calculate isentropic compressibility (Ks), intermolecular free length (Lf), acoustic impedance (Z).
