Abstract

Students with special educational needs are those who require different help from the rest of the students for an adequate response to the needs presented to them. The attention to diversity is the educational intervention that offers a response adapted to the student from a common curricular offer. These adaptations can be ordinary or specific measures. Based on the above, the objective of this work was to analyze physical and intellectual disabilities and propose practical proposals for action from the area of Physical Education. Methodology: Eight activities based on a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) are developed. One of the strengths is the connection between motor skills, cognitive areas and the affective channel, favoring the full development of the individual. Results and conclusions: it is important to consider the characteristics of each student and their needs, putting into practice a generalized PE with application possibilities for all schoolchildren. The inclusion of students with functional diversity in school is a challenge that must be answered, without hiding in the lack of material and specialized personnel to avoid carrying out inclusive / inclusive activities in PE sessions.
