However, its simultaneous classification as a Group 1 carcinogen necessitates a nuanced understanding of its potential detriments alongside its benefits. This concise but comprehensive paper explores the complex characteristics and pervasive influence of benzene, a compound integral to numerous industries and facets of daily life. This study meticulously delineates the adverse health implications of benzene exposure, with a particular focus on its role in the onset of various leukemias. Moreover, the research scrutinizes the environmental repercussions of benzene dissemination through industrial emissions, vehicular exhaust, and other prevalent sources, elucidating its detrimental impact on air, water, soil, and broader ecosystems.
