Abstract
In patients with HFrEF, noninvasive stress imaging (leg raise) be used to discriminate between patients at risk of future cardiovascular events. Enhance diastolic ventricular interaction (DVI) as measured by TTE in conjunction with measures of LV stroke Work Index (systole) and E/e' ratio (Diastole) highlights reduced Frank-Starling reserve in patients with HFrEF and adverse outcomes. Suggests a future interventions that unload RV (inter-atrial shunting, or anterior pericardial resection) could be beneficial. Generalizability to HFpEF populations remains unanswered.
