Abstract

The use of chemistry teaching materials, especially in the collugative properties of solutions, is still limited to printed teaching materials, such as textbooks and worksheet. In addition, teachers have also not utilized technology in the chemistry learning process in the fullest, such as developing their own chemistry teaching materials in accordance with the needs of students and the K13 curriculum. Therefore, teaching materials are needed that can help students learn actively and independently, namely using guided inquiry-based E-Modules. The purpose of this study was to identify the feasibility level of developing Guided Inquiry-Based E-Modules on colligative properties of solutions for class XII SMA/MA developed. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with 4D models from Thiagarajan, Semmel, & Semmel (1974). However, in this research, it is only limited to the third stage, namely develop. Results The results of this study are that the developed E-Module is declared to be very valid by the material expert validator with a percentage of 91.8% and the percentage of the media expert validator is 95.2% with very valid criteria. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire was 84.6% with very good criteria. Based on the results of validation by material experts and media experts, as well as student responses, the guided inquiry-based E-Module on the colligative properties of solutions for class XII SMA/MA students was declared suitable to be used as teaching materials for students in the chemistry learning process, especially on colligative properties material solution.
