Abstract

This paper is concerned with the relationship between the new mobility that underlies the grammar of new symbolic power and urban dynamism in the Post-80 era. Emphasizing Bauman's concept of consumer society, and Boltanski and Chiapello's concept of project regime, the context of the argument is developed within an understanding of recent urban mobility and the neoliberal perception of urbanism. Referring to neoliberalism's discussions of urbanization and recent legal regulations, the paper aims to uncover the potential in the concept of "next project anxiety," functioning as a research subject, to examine the new urban mobility and the new grammar of urban power.
