Abstract
Bronchopneumonia is referred to as the main cause of death in children under five, bronchopneumonia can occur as a result of inhalation of airborne microbes, aspiration of organisms and the nasopharynx or hematogenous spread from a distant focus of infection. Bacteria that enter the lungs through the respiratory tract enter the brochioles and alveoli, causing e severe inflammatory reaction and producing a protein-rich edema fluid in the alveoli and interstitial tissue. To carry out the management of inhalation therapy in children who experience bronchopneumonia with ineffective airway clearance problems in the Picu Room Of The Sioarjo Hospital. The method use is the case study methodeand the literature study method. In this case study carried out by collecting data that includes various sources of information from the data obtained. In this case study, participant werw observed for 3 consecutive days, which included the assessment process, data analysis, nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The results of the case study conducted on both participants with ineffective airway clearance problems in both participant 1 and participant 2 after nebulizer inhalation therapy for 3 consecutive days with the criteria for airway clearance problem resolved. Based on the results of the case evaluation, it was found that the effective management of inhalation therapy was given to patients who experienced ineffective airway clearance, especially in pediatric patients.
