Nilai Ekonomi Hutan Wisata Alam Bur Telege dengan menggunakan Travel Cost Method di Kawasan Hutan Bur Telege, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah

Abstract

Abstrak. Pemanfaatan hutan secara berkelanjutan salah satunya ialah menjadikan hutan sebagai suatu kawasan wisata. Wisata akan memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi jika kunjungan wisatawan setiap tahunnya meningkat. Perhitungan nilai ekonomi dapat dilihat dari segi biaya perjalanan, karakterisrik serta persepsi pengunjung terhadap suatu wisata. Perlunya ada penelitian ini agar dapat mengetahui nilai ekonomi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan metode perjalanan. Data didapatkan berasal dari data primer dan data sekunder.  Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode accidental sampling sehingga mendapatkan 55 sampel dengan cara menggunakan  teknik wawancara serta pembagian kuesioner terhadap responden. Kemudian data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, metode biaya perjalanan (travel cost method), SPSS dan interval skor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan karakteristik perempuan dan laki-laki jumlahnya hampir seimbang dengan status lebih banyak belum menikah serta berada di rentang umur antara 17-25 tahun. Nilai ekonomi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan biaya perjalanan (travel cost method) ialah sebesar Rp. 8.569.888.600,-/tahun, dengan rata-rata per orang sebesar Rp. 470.873,- /orang. Persepsi pengunjung terhadap objek wisata alam Bur Telege berdasarkan kondisi tempat memiliki kategori baik, kelengkapan fasilitas memiliki kategori baik, serta kategori untuk jarak adalah netral.The Economic Value Of The Bur Telege Natural Tourism Forest Using The Travel Cost Method In The Bur Telege Forest Area Aceh Tengah RegencyAbstract. One of the sustainable utilization of forests is to make forests as an tourism area. Tourism area would have a high economic value if tourist visitors increase every year. The calculation of economic value can be seen in terms of travel costs, characteristics, and visitor reviews of the tour. There was a need for this research in order to found out the economic value generated based on the travel method. Data obtained came from primary data and secondary data.  Determination of the sample was using accidental sampling method to get 55 samples by using interview techniques and distributing questionnaires to respondents. Then the data was processed using descriptive analysis, travel cost method, SPSS, and interval score. The results showed that the comparison of the characteristics of women and men was almost balanced with more unmarried status and in the age range between 17-25 years. The economic value generated based on the travel cost method is Rp. 8,569,888,600,-/year, with an average Rp. 470,873,-/person. Visitors review of Bur Telege natural attractions based on the environment in a good category, the completeness for facilities has a good category, and the category for distance is neutral.
