GENDER DAN HAK ASASI PEREMPUAN

Abstract

Understanding of the concept of gender equality and justice is still very limited in all circles. The lack of understanding also occurs among the planners and implementers of development, which in turn slows down efforts to integrate the concept into development policies, programs and activities. The same limitations of understanding also occur at the individual level of women themselves, husbands and their families. This paper aims to: (1) present general conditions of equity and gender equality in Indonesia; (2) identifying and analyzing the root causes of the general conditions in point 1; and (3) analyze and formulate the results of reflection on the realization of justice and gender equality, especially at individual and family level.
