Records of encyrtidae (hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) parasitoids on mealybugs (hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) from Tamil nadu, India

Abstract

Twenty nine species of encyrtids are recorded from the survey conducted during 2008-2010. The encyrtids were reared from mealybugs collected in various districts of Tamil Nadu. Of the 29 species listed here, 11 species are new distributional records for Tamil Nadu and for 27 species new host records are reported for India. Rhopus nigroclavatus is a previously recorded species from Tamil Nadu. © 2011 Check List and Authors.
