Abstract
This paper looks at the issue of access to internet based services in Botswana and the UK. It provides an overview of current infrastructure and demographics in each country, the particular issues and obstacles that each faces and considers the initiatives currently being pursued. It concludes that although the two countries may be very different many of the problems they face with regards to web access are similar. © 2011 IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
