Abstract

An essay is presented regarding the role of the governments of different countries in prevention of the human trafficking by implementing the anti-human trafficking legislations. It mentions the power of the U.S. Congress, European Union (EU) and the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) for controlling the human trafficking. It also mentions the efforts of the U.S. by implementing the U.S. Trafficking Victims Protection Act in 2000.
