Abstract

Studied the relationship among, and cognition of the relationship among, parents' and children's empathy and prosocial behavior. Human Ss: 225 normal male and female Japanese school-age children (5th graders). Ss from 2 different schools were asked to rate their own and their parents' empathy and prosocial behavior using a new questionnaire.
