Abstract

We sought to examine the association between BMI changes and ART regimens in a large urban HIV clinic, and identify predictors of BMI changes. Conclusions: INSTI-based HAART regimens are associated with greater increases in BMI in Blacks and Hispanics. Women had greater BMI gains than men on PI and INSTI. The mechanisms of this differential effect by gender and race/ethnicity should be examined in prospective studies.
