Experience of introducing all digital spot detector

Abstract

The all digital Spot Detector manufactured by Toshiba Engineering Corporation was installed for the No. 3 and No. 5 paper machine. This system has the various features, for example, all digital processing, equipment special filter for slight low contrast defects, etc. But, on one hand, some problems are secured by reason of the first installation to paper machine. We report the outline of this system and some problem after installation.
