Surface functionalization by strain-promoted alkyne-azide click reactions

Abstract

Clicks without Cu: There is a growing demand for reproducible site-specific functionalization of surfaces with biomolecules without introduction of unwanted groups or catalysts, as they may interfere with later applications.
