Abstract

Comments on the article by D. Turkington and P. McKenna (see record 2003-05500-009), which discusses whether cognitive-behavioral therapy is a worthwhile treatment for psychosis. Kingdon asserts that McKenna focuses only on the studies he finds acceptable and completely omits other widely cited studies with active placebos and positive effects.
